How to Get An Internship With A Radio Station?!

Question: How to Get An Internship With A Radio Station!?
Answers:
Send a well-written email to the HOST of the morning show (if the station has one)!. Explain that you have a real passion for working in radio and you would love to be a first-string coffee retriever for the show!. Tell them that you will gladly wake up at 3 AM to get to the station and work on show prep!.

If you are dealing directly with the jock that you'll be working under through email, don't worry about a resume!. Honestly, 90% of the jobs that you can first get in radio are based on persistance, not experience!. Everyone at the station knows that you will have no marketable experience!.

also, your chances of getting an internship are no better or worse if you are majoring in mass communications or some other radio-related field!. In fact, you would be better off majoring in something else that you can fall back on, because like they say, you never have truly worked in radio until you've been fired!.
