Question: How much does it cost to buy or start a radio station!?
I was wondering on how much it cost to start a radio station or to buy one!. This goes for both AM and FM Radio stations!. Input will be appreciated!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depends on where, how popular and such
a 1000 watt AM station in rural america will usually go for about $100,000 but be prepared to spend a little money to update it!.
On the other end of the spectrum, most New York City stations such as WHTZ (Z-100) would probably go for $25 Million if it was sold by itself (in markets like that it usually isn't but part of a cluster of stations)
but if you could set up a station (Most locals have started to run out of available frequencies to be granted) it costs almost as much as buying the station!.

well first u got to get a license and i know that costs about 50$ and then u choose ur base of operations (basement or tower) which would most likly cost building expenses which are about 150 - 350$ and the cost of playing the artists songs is not something im familier with, but most money u should get to pay for anything is the commercialsWww@Enter-QA@Com
