Trying to find a starter job in radio?!

Question: Trying to find a starter job in radio!?
My husband is about 4 years out of broadcasting school and has a great voice for sports radio!. Because of a family situation he had to put his dream on hold for a few years and work just to have a paycheck!. He has recently been laid off and is interested in persuing his dream, he has contacted his school, but are there any online resources or if anyone has someone he could contact!? Anything will help, we are starting from square one, also any location in the US is doable!. ThanksWww@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Make as many contacts as possible!. There are lot's of layoffs curently occuring in some parts of the broadcast industry as well!. Since relocation is an option, start sending out resumes to as many places as possible!. We have three sports talk stations here in Las Vegas, but one is Hispanic so fluency in Spanish is a requirement!. Without broadcasting experience even with schooling, expect to start at entry level pay wherever you go!. Try the state broadcasters assocations on line sites like http://www!.nevadabroadcasters!.org/ or any other state sites as a plce to get tips and listings of job sites!. The National association of Broadcasters site at http://www!.nab!.org/AM/Template!.cfm!?Secti!.!.!. is a good place as well!.

He needs to start contacting stations and making connections with people that do that job or are in the industry so they can give him pointersWww@Enter-QA@Com
