Why when I'm listening to the radio on my PC does it cut off ever 5 minutes !
Question: Tonight for example I want to listen to the Arsenal v Liverpool match on 5 live and it cuts 5, 10, 20,30 seconds out every 5 minutes or so....5 seconds can be huge in a footie match!!! I don't have any other programmes running....

Sorry that doesn't answer your question, but I can sympathise!
This is called buffering, it happens in low / dial up internet connections. It's a process where the info gets loaded and the plays, if you have such type of connections then you'll always get this kind of trouble.
If you are still using dial-up, then you probably don't have enough power.
If you are using high-band [broadband] - then dunno....

It's because it's buffering - basically banking up audio information. However, it's playing the audio back faster than it is downloading it, so every now and again it will have to catch up.
It won't be anything to do with the fact that you don't have any other programs running, it will be because you need to increase the speed of your broadband connection.
Check with your ISP to find out more.
