Hey be completly honest with me! do i sing well?!

Question: okay i recorded this on a mac computer so its not that great..and i hit alot of flat notes and alot of cracks..but we did not have time to fix them. but my quesion to you is...if i went to audition to become a music artist do you think i would make it?
i wrote this song for a to write love on her arms fundraiser that i am putting on in april. the song is very sad as it talks about the issues that some people face but then at the end it talks about how God faced the same stuggles that we do and he is there to take it away...

your amazing i wish i could sing that way are u a christian singer cause im christian and i really thing that that song will touch a lot of people

I like your voice.

Becoming an artist however, is something completely different. Go to open mic nights. Make connections. Go see local bands. Make friends with the band members, their agents and producers. If you have friends who are Mue's (music engineers) have them make a demo. Pass them out. Promote. Promote. Promote. Mostly, its about connections. Perform everywhere, even if you don't want to.

1) I like you instrumentation. I think your piano needs way more filling (bass/left hand wise) out and you should really push that viola to the forefront. Give her more than quarters and halves.
2) Also, your vocal line could use a bit more variation. Change up the repetative melodic lines. This can be done with simple ornaments, a bit of vibrato, changing one note.
3) You might want to add some rhythm by having the violist tap on the shoulder of her viola or learn some cool percussive things she can do with the bow. (I suggest listening to the Turtle Island STring quartet for that. They're brilliant)

Hope that helps!
