I just discovered a really sweet website today and I think you might want to check it out. Go to:
pandora.com
Type in My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy or whatever and it will create a station with similar songs. If you're in the mood for something else, type that in and it will switch it up. I think it saves your playlist for you to go back and listen to songs you've heard before. It also allows you to skip ahead to a new song at any time. I'm having a lot of fun listening to it. I just typed in Nine Inch Nails for the heck of it and it's been playing some cool songs that I've never heard of, and some others that I have.

you can listen to radio stations online. not sure of the website. but they have hundreds of categories kinda like xm or sirius. jus google online radio stations.
