How do I become a good radio presenter?!

Question: I WILL NEED LECTURE NOTES AND BOOKS TO HELP ME BE THE BEST

Answers: I WILL NEED LECTURE NOTES AND BOOKS TO HELP ME BE THE BEST

On the job training. I learned with a mentor, but what you need is on-air practice. Lecture notes and books will give you the basics, but unless you do it yourself and get out there and get critiqued, you will never get really good.

If you need lecture notes and books to be the best, then perhaps you should go to college. lots of universities offer RTF course curriculum, that's Radio/Television/Film.

read making good radio

You can study radio and broadcasting at university which covers loads of topics and subjects, including journalism, radio production and radio presenting. You can also get alot of work experience by becoming a volunteer at a local radio station and gradually working your way up.
Good Luck

Two things:

A. Find a model. Identify a person who you think is your idea of a good radio presentor. Imitate that person, don't be ashamed. Imitate them so you can figure out for yourself what it is about them that appeals to you. After you figure that out, you can get your own rhythm and your own sound.

B. Practice practice practice. Find an on air radio job, pick up extra shifts, volunteer to work for free, ANYTHING that actually gets you mic time.

its supposed to be a natural thing. work on your voice and anunciation of words. depending on if ur doing music radio or talk u will need to be able to do certain things. give more detail and i might be able to help more
