Tony Blackburn signs up to KCFM?!

Question: Radio legend Tony Blackburn has signed a new deal to present on KCFM 99.8, Hull and East Yorkshires dedicated radio station in association with Kingston Communications. The Tony Blackburn Show will broadcast live every Friday from 10am - 2pm, playing music from the 60's, 70's and the 80's - including lots of Tony's favourite soul music tracks. Every week, listeners will be able to call the show and talk to Tony live - and there will be lots of chances to win prizes.LOL

In his day he was a top end DJ,but that is it in his day,
i think KC have made a wrong move they was blinded by the name to see what the listeners really want and lets face it Tony is not that person

I think you said it yourself when you wrote "radio legend".

Like him or loathe him, in my opinion Tony Blackburn has nothing to prove to anyone, he doesn't take himself too seriously which is always a good thing for a media man, and I feel sure that he will be an excellent choice for KCFM.

You can't beat a bit of Tony Blackburn, the guys a legend. Corny but a legend none the less.

Wo-oh Tony Blackburn.

No Tangerine Dream or Aphex Twin? Shame on him...owd luv! Anyways...who's to say a 'better presenter' would end up in Hull, for let's face it...if they still are - er - revered, they'll stay at Capital, or any other of the well known radio stations in bigger cities. Having nowt to prove is one thing, but Hull?
Well...
...KCFM? Why do I think of moronic eateries in shopping centres not unlike Meadowhall (thought I'd mention it as you'll know where that monstrosity is!)

if i wanted to lisern to yestaryear junk i would put a old 45 on

who ???

thought he was dead lol he some one put him back in his box

the guy is a relic
