Question: I know im young but i really wanna be a DJ on a radio station when i grow up. i really like Chio Kannon and those people from Wired 96.5 WRDW from Philly. I know that you have to study Communications in College do you know anything else that could help.

well my advice to u is get an internship at a radio station. network with as meaning people as u can. be very outgoing and willing to do anything and everything. that way you will get hired. once your in, from ther you need to bust your butt and show how worthy u are. in college u will learn what a demo disc is. and when u make one of those present it to the program director at the radio station and give a pitch. its worth a shot. also in college my advice to get lots of experiance is to do a radio show at the school. this is the path i am taking and trust me, it has paid off a lot so far. i am young too and its amazing the things i have accomplished and experianced already
take mass com. course................mass-com-portable like other people say...................and of course you need to know how every dj gadget works.....................
Communications is the most important thing to study.
