Satallite radio - already researched prev questions...?!

Question: i am listening to xm right now and i am pretty impressed with it but i know that sirius has more appeal to my age group, i like rock music mostly (but i like all kinds) my favorite sports are football and hockey. i had sirius about a year ago but i made the mistake of buying a crappy receiver from walmart and they wouldnt give me money back and i didnt want another one of their crappy receivers so that ended. i remember i was pretty happy with it while it worked but what are the major differeneces between the two (sirrius or xm), im am 25 years old and like rock, comedy, sports, some world news... you know, typical stuff.

Like the other person said, you can do a free online trail of each and explore what each company has to offer. But of course, the online versions don't have ALL of the channels, just most of the music ones.

You say you like hockey and football, that is where a problem lies for you. Sirius has all he NFL games, while XM has all the NHL games. Sirius has Howard Stern while XM has Oprah. As for music, I don't there think there's much difference between the two.

I prefer xm over sirius because it has the MLB and ncaa football.
Was always nice if I'm watching a baseball game and I need to make a beer run, I can put the game on while on the run.
and also the pga network.

After 3 years of xm service, I started listening to talk radio on AM radio, I think the xm is still overpriced.

Follow the links below for a 3 day free trial for each service.

Pro football made the decision for me. I'm about ten years older than you and like alternative music, although I'm flexible to most genres. I also like to listen to talk at times during the day and Sirius offers tons of options (sports, comedy, news, Howard Stern, etc). I think the receiver quality has evened out too. But the biggest thing has been espn and total NFL coverage. If baseballs your thing, go XM
