Power 104.1 WPHH- Hartford CT?!
Question: Say uh, anybody know what happened to that station? i use to listen to them whenever i visited the area and this past time, it's gone, they've changed the format. Anybody from that area have any info on why the change?

As Tony said, It flipped in October of 2007 back to it's previous alt. Rock format due to not being able to get good ratings against the competition in town Hot 93.7 WZMX
The most likely reason why ANY radio station changes formats....low ratings all around.
Power 104.1 might have no longer reached the audience (especially the fact that a lot of younger listeners have abandoned radio for the iPod, satellite radio and Internet sources such as streaming). They might have felt that they could reach a better demographic by going to the format the station was before the flip to hip-hop...which is rock.
