Whats Going On With The Star and Buc Wild Morning Show?!


Question: I know these guys got fired from the power radio stations and all that, but I miss their show. Will they ever be back on the air? Would still listen to them? I would!

Tony is right in that it has been announced they are returing to the air through a loophole that's about to be closed.

See they are technically not going to work for a radio station but a TV station!!!!

See, TV channel 6 audio can be heard on most FM radios at 87.7 .... since no one can get a radio station license in NYC, someone got a TV license instead and is broadcasting audio like a radio station over the airwaves while broadcasting say one picture all the time....

That's why the frequency and all sound weird....

Ok I said the loophole is about to close right?
The loophole that allows the TV station to broadcast the Star and Buckwild show will be cut permanently on February 17,2009 when all TV stations in the US must go to digital signal to stay on the air... Digital can't be picked up by a FM radio except as noise so technically the most the show will last is one year unless they find a way around it.

Date rumored is January 15th for startup and the show
Only station and it only serves New York City itself... and according to what I see ..NO unless they web broadcast Report It

    • I don't think they are going back on the air unfortunately but I miss them also lol. I almost got into a car accident one morning listening to those fools because I was laughing so hard. I know Star writes an article for the magazine Hip Hop Weekly and has recently released a book. I think he talks to fans via his myspace page though. I wish he wouldn't have made those comments about that other DJ's daughter though.........
    EDIT: According to wikipedia Star and Bucwild will be returing to the airwaves on an unknown radio station. YAY!!!!!
    If you live in New York City...they WILL be back on the air sometime this month on a new station, Pulse 87.7.

    The station hasn't launched yet but it is supposed to happen sometime this month. It will be on the WAY bottom of your radio dial.
    Never heard of them and probably could care less about them.
