Showtune Radio Station?!

Question: I'm looking for a radio station (not internet radio) that plays showtunes. Something I can just tune into with my regular radio. Any suggestions?

Gotta know where you live. In the meantime check out

www.musicofyourlife.com

and see if they have an affiliate near you. You can also check the local phone book under Radio Stations. Or just twist that knobby thing that tunes the radio until you come to a station that fits - 99% will be on AM unless you are in Palm Springs or another retirement community.

Or put "standards radio" or "showtunes radio" in your favorite search engine (without the quotes) put a comma after radio and then your ZIP Code.

Unfortunately that format isn't being aired very much anymore. Advertisers seem to think anyone over 55 has no money to spend. If you have money to spend, check out XM or Sirius. I believe both have at least one station that will fit the bill. Good luck!

No real stations that play show tunes all the time.... except Sat radio as he said.

The Music of your life format plays some but it plays more standards like Perry Como , Henry Mancini, etc.

The music of your life format is on KIXI 880am in Seattle and supposedly you can also hear CKBD 600am from Vancouver BC
