BBC Radio 4 has loads of good stuff - short stories, plays, comedy and documentaries. There's a brilliant spoof phone in programme called Down The Line.
I keep my radio tuned to a PBS station and seldom, if ever, change unless I travel out of its broadcast range. You can get audio books at the library. A used book store frequently has them as well cheap.
