What kind of music is the best to listen to and why?!

Question: Country.
I grew up listening to Johnny Cash, and George Striaght, because of my dad. So when I listen to that older country it takes me back.

Where do I begin :-)

Country - Grew up on it (I'm in the south) and love it all from the 1940s to today's nashville pop as they call it. Been getting into some of the Alternative country/Texas/Outlaw scene as of late as it sounds rocking and like the older country.

Rock - Grew up on country and 70s Top 40 stations so I got well rehearsed into rock by the time the rock only stations came along in the 1980s.. But love classic rock, Classic Hits, Gotta have my new rock... actually right night I'm streaming on a website called slacker.com a mix of all three together reminding me of Rock stations in the 1980s that mixed it all.

Pop/Adult Contemporary - Yep fell out of favor with top 40 radio but younger friends dragged me and 5 years later I can't go a few days without listening to a pop station. Adult Contemporary is a mix of the classic hits and the pop I like.. starting to experiment with Adult Album Alternative stations as of late

So pretty much what's popular:-)

it depends on where you live and how much money you have.
Your mood can also determine what music you have to listen to.
Your race can also determine. Jazz, RnB, RnG, Reggae if you are black.
Country,Rock, Alternative, Metals if you are caucasian
Salsa, Merengue< Mexican and Bachata if Latino
Klezmer if Jewish
Turk music if Turkish
