He is ok
He was good in his era of the 70's but well passed it now...as indeed I am..

ive not heard him recently but a few years ago i liked his shows. much better than the car crash jonathan ross's & chris moyles types.
I got a chance to meet (and photograph) him the week he resigned from Radio 1.
I found him to be a very amenable person.
Brilliant , listening to him on the radio is like having a friend call round.
well remembered from the caroline days in the mid 60s when i was a kid. in those days he used to call himself 'the weird beard' or 'the hairy monster' rather than DLT.
his live on air radio 1 resignation was the kind of thing we'd all love to do but never quite had the balls.
i most loved him when he played on 'an air' prank on an unsuspecting noel edmonds.
noel became famous for playing churlish tricks to ridicule fellow presenters for, i think 'house party'.
however when the tables were turned the poisin dwarf got the right hump over it.
DLT, a fine broadcaster with both honesty and balls, rare qualities in the industry
