Why are people so obsessed with MCR?!
Question: I find it quite annoying because they are stealing credit from other great bands. I never hear ppl talking about linkin park, metallica, 30 seconds to mars, bullet for my valentine etc and they have just as good music. all i ever hear now is 'mcr this' and 'mcr that'.
i'm not saying I hate them or anything but it's really gettin on my nerves.

MCR are popular now.. so what.
maybe it is b/c Welcome to the Black Parade was acclaimed by many critics to be the best album of 2006 (including Blender magazine). the album is one of the best to come out in a long time from any rock band (at least famous ones). the album is very easy to listen to, each song could be a hit if released. Honestly, in SOCAL where i live, i hear linkin park, metallica, and 30 seconds to mars on the radio A LOT more than i hear MCR
Well I like ALL the bands you said, including MCR.
My Chemical Romance happens to be my favorite band (LP is my second btw)
Everyone has their own taste.
I like my music to be a bit more diverse then just one sub-genre.
I dont hear of MCR really anymore than those other bands.
