Question: Hi guys,im doing an assignment on media imperialism and im trying to find out if the Radio Scene in Singapore has in anyway been influenced by American radio.Could you guys provide me with links and websites which i could use.Or maybe the websites of the radio stations so i could listen and do some comparisons.Thanks!

Yea, check out this one in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota... http://www.kdwb.com/main.html - this is a top 20 radio station, another favorite is a country station... http://www.k102.com/main.html - and lastly this is a favorite Rap / Hip-Hop Station here in MN... http://www.b96online.com/home.asp

I listen to alternative rock, but the radio station is on the internet. They have a really funny morning show, but mostly a bunch of"crap".. wkzq.net
Radio all over the world has been affected by US radio and many other things (not always for the good - but that's another question).
Sounds like an interesting assignment. You know how to use Yahoo, so i'm sure you know how to use a search engine. So, get to it. Then you'll have the satisfaction of knowing your assignment was truly all yours... and we won't be doing your home-work for you.
