How to block Fm Radio stations?!

Question: Inside the building, My boss blocks all fm radio stations except his favorite boring "easy listening" station. How does he block fm radio stations and allows one to be heard? Do I need to buy a radio with a bigger antenna to get other stations or what?

Well, im not sure how he does that... but here is a way around that... here is a few podcasts to the stations nearest you...

http://www.cbsradio.com/streaming/index....

these are only stations from CBS radio...

it is a simple podcast... just click on the listen now button on the right to whichever one you wanna listen to.
I am not sure. But, if you have a computer their you can get an XM account. They have a free trial if you want to check it out. Satellite is so much better anyway. I know that he can't block that out.
not knowing all the particulars is hard... He would have to jam wide and this would be very hard to not interfere with his station. (it would have interference almost everywheres except very near his station... however computers and such make noise that wipe out radios also..moving the radio helps)

Most metal buildings however are very bad at receiving signals from the outside and you need a very close station to come in .. his station of choice may be right near or my guess is you can't receive no stations and his station is pipped throughout the work area....

hooking a bent out coat hanger can extend a antenna to see if it works, or just webstreaming off the work computer is the choice most have doing as of late
Very odd - i have no idea how he is doing that!

Definitely try streaming off the web - you also have much more variety that way and its much easier to cover the fact that you are listening! He might start to notice all the coathangers....
Just use Nexus Radio http://www.nexusradio.com
It is free and it has over 7000 stations!
Not enough information.

But I don't think he's blocking. More likely the building is blocking all, and he is paying for a commercial service like Muzak or even XM or Sirius for business, which is then piped in.
-a guy named duh
He can't. Bring your own radio in. If he is "scrambling" public stations, he is committing a crime. He can tell that you can not use your radio in the work place, but he can not interefere with public radio transmissions.
i didn't know people could do that
