Analogue Radio off ???!

Question:

Analogue Radio off ???

Hiya, I have a walkman which I listen to Heart and Magic radio stations on. However, I turned it on yesterday morning but was met with silence. The batteries are not low as I was able to listen to my cassette player. Does anyone know if analogue radio has been switched off and if we are now forced to go digital ??

Answers: nope not yet, may be a fault just on that day or your radio it's self.
but to double check i would try the station your trying to pick up on another radio for sure

regards x kitti x Not that I know of. Car stereos are still analogue. er... I know that is the case will cellular phones. The FCC said they could stop running digital. I doubt that means radio stations. no not turned off yet. >???
maybe a problem with your aerial. try new headphones, It depends on where you live. I know that the analogue TV signals in Cumbria are being turned off soon but have heard nothing about the radio signals.
If you can contact the stations directly, they should help you. Radio FM and AM is always analog
and will be analog many years.
May be your radio is out or sometimes voltage level of your
battery is not enough for your radio.
