Well, there really is not much you can do about it. Radio stations change formats to reach new listeners, and it's all done at the management level. There probably isn't a country station in your particular market, and instead of applying to the FCC for a new license, they decided to change the format to tap into that audience. If it fails, they'll probably learn from what they did and change back, change to a different format in a few years, or apply for a new broadcasting license.
