I mean, not even London can claim to having a 24/7 radio station playing nothing but rock - whatever its genre. Not "Virgin Radio-like" alternating it with pop, R&B and the like...
No, Virgin Radio is not such a thing - it only scratches on the surface when compared with most other countries' metropolis and even smaller towns which play non-stop soft to hard core, 70's glam to heavy metal, progressive to classic rock regardless of the time of the day.
Why is it so scarce in the UK?
Wouldn't it be comercially viable, even with so many rock'n'roll gigs and festivals and such a huge public?
Can anyone name any odd one (and their frequency band) around the UK?
