Sirius and censorship?!

Question:

Sirius and censorship?

Isn't Sirius Radio supposed to be censorship-free? I listen to Channel 1 'Sirius Hits' (their top 40 station) a lot and they bleep or censor words out in songs.
As we know, you have to subscribe to Sirius radio, so if we are paying for it, why censor? Howard Stern can say all he wants, that's great, but what about our music!?

If it's radio you pay for, it shouldn't make a difference who is listening (kids). It's up to the parents to use discretion. Don't ruin it for the rest of us!

Answers:

Well actually, there is no censorship. Because XM AND Sirius Radio caompanies want more money and better competition. For example - both companies have a channel called the "PLAYBOY RADIO CHANNEL". That is a good example of 'no censorship'. BUt there should be censorship. Mam, you are correct. Well, hope that helped.
God bless you.
