Answers:
No it seems to vary region to region. There are some national ones and some local ones (like XFM in London) that seem to braodcast nationally. But you do get loads more choice and it includes channels that broadcast nationally on MW like Virgin and Talksport. Obviously the sound is better and it is just so simple to use. I would recommend it if you listen a fair bit and maybe like to change channels for different moods!
