Do I need a special radio reciever to get HD radio?!

Question:

Do I need a special radio reciever to get HD radio?

Answers:

Technically, no.

Most radio stations are broadcasting in HD as we speak. In some radio's, you might hear a slight difference in the quality, but you wont get the full experience.

The high definition is meant to make the overall sound quality better for the consumer. However, if your radio is 5 years or older, chances are it's not capable of picking up on the HD. You can buy a newer "regular" radio and hear the difference.

The HD radio's are made to find the hidden radio stations with crystal clarity...With an HD radio, you will get CD quality with FM, FM quality with AM...And those hidden radio stations between frequencies.
