Probably bc he is with ESPN now and they don't like their people to do anything not ESPN branded. For example, you can see him on ESPN, Baseball Tonight, read stuff by him on ESPN.com, and hear him do interviews occasionally on ESPN radio shows (although Gammons and Buster Olney seem to be the most common over the rest by 10 fold).
