Looking for a 1951 Chevrolet pickup radio. I want something that looks like the old radio but that will play a cd. Something similar to a hidden cd player slot. I've seen them out there but that was a long time ago.

Several companies will now take your old radio, and convert it to FM. I doubt it'd be worth converting to CD, as most old radios have VERY small face-plates, and a CD may not even fit thru the opening anyway. But there are companies out there that do it. I know they've done it for 55-56-57 Chevrolet Cars and trucks. You may start searching there, find who makes that radio, then see if they do others now. That was about 10 years ago I saw that, they may have newer products / possibilities now. Good hunting!
