How is Nephew Tommy and Steve Harvey related?

Tommy's mother, I think is Steve's sister.
He really is his nephew. But I get soooooo SICK of hearing him "Unca Steve! Unca Steve!" all the time, like he has to constantly remind us that that's his uncle. Tommy can be annoying sometimes. Like today when Steve dedicated the song Brick House to Shirley and Tommy had to go kill it by saying she was made of big bricks: cinder blocks! Sometimes he doesn't think before he opens his mouth. And that BEGGIN!!! Beggin everybody for a hookup on a part or a role. He's annoying and I think that crap he says about liking big women is just a hype of b.s. so he can have a mass following of SOMEbody!!! And when he does the pranks....the way his voice starts going up like a woman's UGH!!!! And that stupid little cackle laugh he does everytime he finishes singin' "Turn yo volume up if you wit me!!!) And those TIPS!!! Most days they be weak and stupid and don't make any sense. He just really annoys me most of the time! Sometimes he's funny, but he doesn't do much for me....Whew! Thanks for letting me vent...Yeah, they're really uncle and nephew (one trying to ride the other's coat tail). Tommy is really not bad of an actor. I didn't see him on whatever t.v. show he was on...(some black show, I think) but he did play a villain pretty well in this play on DVD called "He Say, She Say, But What Does God Say?" He did a pretty good job, but still....UGH!!!
