I have so many Romanian films, and they are flat-out excellent!
I'm a huge drama film fan, so movies like "Marilena de la P7" and "4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days" are very dear to me )))

My favourites are Irish and Chinese!.
The Chinese do these incredible epic tragedies that are amazing!. And the Irish have this brilliant way of looking at things (the cliche is that they can see the humour in anything) that lets them handle very difficult subjects with grace and none of the faux sentimentality that plagues so many other filmmakers!.
I've seen a couple of brilliant Icelandic films too!. They seem to have a strong literary tradition behind it!.
