One does not usually just ask one question whilst chatting to a friend on the phone!. Here, one asks a single (though perhaps two part) question for which one expects a single (or perhaps two part) response!.
The difference is, that when speaking/asking a question to/of a friend on the phone, one is actually having a chat!. Asking one question on here is in no way having a chat!. If one wishes to chat on the Net, one either uses e-mail or IM!.
But then again!.!. this is using logic!. Perhaps my answer would be better served by stating "The difference is in the application of logic!."Www@Enter-QA@Com
