Only in the military!. Never call out "Present" in the military unless you step back or you will receive a rifle in your face!. It is also not a good idea to call out "Fire" in the military either!.
In the meanwhile, it beat being called Cole (coal) which is what most of us naughty little girls and boys will be receiving if Yahoo has anything to say about Christmas!.
But I would respond "I'm Hare!" but that would be confusing now wouldn't it!? "Hare!!.!.!.Who is Hare!?" "I'm Hare!"
You can see how that might go on for hours!.
