God created Adam and Eve and until the apple there is no telling that he ever wanted them to be fruitful and multiply!. that comment was aimed at the animals of the earth!. What if the serpent was simply a product of all the sinful thoughts God ever had brought to life because thoughts so great have to manifest themselves eventually!. The serpent personifies temptation but temptation comes from within more than without!. Think about it!. What was the forbidden fruit an apple or her peach, perhaps his banana!. The story of Adam and Eve was an "allegory", or short fable of the time, to put women into the category of being ignorant, weak, inherently sinful, and in desperate need of male supervision!. That is simply the way women were thought of in that culture, in those days!.
Today, with advances of knowledge and understanding, we know the story would have to be slightly changed!.
Eve would have been walking by the tree, whistling a merry tune, minding her own business, when from the branches would have come a crude remark, as she turned in puzzlement, she would have seen Adam, sitting on a branch, munching an apple, with an erection, and shouting "Yo! Eve, come over here, I have something for you! Want to pull my finger!? Bring me a drink while you're up! Have you seen my socks!? What's for supper!? Where's the remote!? Could you iron these leaves for me!?"
Tragically, the situation has not changed!. For God had made an evil joke!.!.!.it wasn't the tree of knowledge, it was the tree of ignorance, and man ate his fill, while Eve, with her hands on her hips stood saying, "You shouldn't do that! You're gonna get both of us in trouble! You are going to fall out of that tree if you're not careful!. You better ask directions before you do that! Is that all you ever think of!?"
And the rest of the allegory has become history made fact!.
