Question: Why Is It That When Someone Asks An Abortion Question!.!.!.!?
!.!.!.people always assume that person is Christian!? Someone on my watch list posed a question regarding abortion, and many of the replies he got in return were along the lines of "I'm not Christian, you gave a Christian argument" and "I'm not Christian, so I think my body is mine!."
The issue of abortion is a personal one, regardless of religion!.!.!.so why is it that questions like his are completely written off as "Christian nut-job pushing his agenda" instead of answered with the facts that those people must have used to come up with their decision to be pro-choice!? Seems like the lazy way out, but that's just my opinion!. What's yours!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Having been a lurker on a message board (stardestroyer!.net) where most of the members are Atheist and Agnostic, I’ve seen some of them say things like (paraphrase) “If pro-lifers are really against abortion, then why do pro-lifers say “except in the cases of rape”…because they just want to control woman’s bodies!.”
(Many pro-lifers are not OK with abortion, even in the cases of rape, but these particular atheists don’t seem to be aware of this, or they ignore it!.)
The scary thing is, quite a few of the board members there are clearly quite smart!. Even the intelligent ones seem to think that the pro-life movement is actually a fight to keep woman’s sexuality in check!. It scares me that even intelligent people come to this conclusion!.
They have even described the pro-life feminist group Feminists for Life as “pseudo -feminist” (or something similar), basically saying they can’t really be feminist if they are pro-life!
I personally am pro-life, but am so for secular reasons!. I’m a Christian, yes, but I was pro-life when I wasn’t a Christian!. (I was something close to a deist!.)
I also have to remind myself that there are people like Doris Gordon, the founder of Libertarians for Life!. (See source!.) She (I’m assuming it’s a she given the name) is atheist, raised Jewish, and very pro-life!.
To more directly answer your question: Most pro-lifers are Christian!. Combine this with the idea above (many non-Christians thinking that pro-lifers just want to control woman’s sexuality, which is something non-Christians don’t try to do), and you get people jumping to conclusions about anyone who expresses an anti-abortion viewpoint!.

Truthfully I don't know what I would do he I had to make that choice for medical reasons but just to do it NEVER that's my choice I think life begins as soon as the sperm and egg join!. It's a personal choice each person should make and live with! also I'm Christian and don't look down on people who have them it's between them and who or what ever they believe!Www@Enter-QA@Com
It really bugs me that this country is being taken over by religion!. Not because I have no faith in anything but because this is America and so many people of different faiths live here!. I don't think religion belongs in politics AT ALL!. We shouldn't regulate tastes in this country when the tastes are so diverse!. It's unfair!. The fact that people keep forcing their religious beliefs on others in this country is becoming a real turn off to organized religion!. It's turning people away!. Go get one first!. I found out that most so called "christians" try to enforce their "morals" upon everyone and never ever in their whole life touched a bible!.
You can check one online and see that Jesus clearly said that you should STAY OUT OF SOMEONE ELSE'S LIVES!. Read Mathew 7, Luke 6!. Take for example Luke 6:37: "Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven"!.
Or Luke 6:27/28/29: "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you!. To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either!."
Where is the part where it says "shove your morals down other's throat, prevent their sins and punish them with jail time, fines, death or ruin their lives for ever and ever"!? I don't recall that part on the bible!.!.!.
