Yes, I was trying to make a call to FL and dialed 911 as the area code!. I hung up before I finished dialing the entire number realizing I had dialed wrong!. Within a few minutes I received a call from the police asking if I was OK!. Very reassuring!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes but luckily the dispacher on duty recognized our number as they where a family friend at that time and just told the Emergancy services it was nothing!. When in fact I was just attempting to show my oldest how to dial 911 and I accidently did!.!.lol!. Now we just use a toy phone to practice on!.!.lol!. Ive also called several times on purpose as their services where needed!. Plust being a volunteer assistance with EMT services for a Volunteer event we kind of had to call them if we ever had a need to!.
But be careful if you accidently dial 911 a couple of times supposedly you can get a ticket for abuse of Emergancy services!. Or its just something my dad always told me so I wouldnt!.!.lol!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, I have a few times actually!. I live in a city where you have to dial the area code to call across state lines (even though the greater Kansas City area consist of Kansas and Missouri) and the area code is 913!.!.!.so when trying to dial it is very easy to accidentally dial 911 instead!. I work for a bank though - and the 1st time I did it, I didn't realize that if you hung up before they answered they would still show up!. Well - I found out - a few cop cars come blazing into the Bank parking lot, freaked everyone else out and I had to tell them it was me that had called and hung up!

We were little and home!. My brother was the oldest and he was like twelve!. So basically he was old enough to look after us!. My mom went to go pick up her check and we didnt want to go so she was like fine then "keep yalls asses here then!." My other brother was playing on my cousins cell phone and called the cops!. The phone didnt have a sim so we thought they werent gonna answer!. But they did!. When they did he just playfully asked the police for bubble gum!. Then he hung up in their face!. After he hung up we were all laughing until they showed up at the door with some packs of bazooka Joe bubble gum!. Then they waited for my mom to get back and when she got back they arrested her for neglecting her children!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, I did when I was 12, my parents can't come home early because they have to work!. (its was my first time alone in the house) I heard something in the basement and it was loud, like someone banging on a pipe!. I was afraid and ran up to my room and suppose to call my parents but somehow I dial 911!. some man say heloo and I got scare and turn the phone off!. the cops came to my house and rang the door and I thought its parents!.!.rush down there and it was the cops!. they were nice and helpful to me, found that the neighbor is fixiing his pipe!. I was trying to call the cab company 299-9911 for my BF who was out and too drunk to understand how to ever walk so I just started hitting the re-dial button over and over !.!.!. well somewhere along the way the re-dial skipped some numbers and I was talking to a 911 operator! I explained it was a mistake, but she told me I would need to speak to a constable !.!.!. I spoke to this man and gave him all my info for like 20 minutes, then they insisted on sending out a squad car to make sure I there wasn’t' someone in my house!.!.!. The man on the phone understood and said it happens all the time !.!.!. the cops however were A$$holes and rummaged through my entire house to make sure there was no one but me home !.!.!. it was brutal!!

I've never dialed it accidentally, but when I worked for a convenience store, we had to wear these buttons on a chain around our necks, but they were so bulky and were supposed to be under our clothes, so I would usually just stuff it into my smock pocket!. People at my office do it all of the time!. You have to stay on the line! Most places will try to call you back to make sure everything is okay and won't dispatch the police unless you don't answer the phone!. But I suppose some places may just send the police without trying to call back!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
