Too many people in real life know who I am on this website, and I sometimes share private info that I would rather not share with my friends!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Besides, in keeping your Q&A private, then another user has to actually add you into their network in order to view them; this gives you more freedom to observe who is looking at your Q&A, and who is adding you!. It also gives you more leverage in blocking those you do not want as fans in your network!., suchas stalkers and y!aholes and trolls!.
A private setting Q&A also protects you a bit more from needless violations, as in when some psychotic yahole goes on a shooting spree through your profile, reporting all of your Q&A on every page!.
Besides, my preference is privacy in general, so i always choose that option!. I never leave anything open to the public!.

because if we dont keep them private, it invites the trolls to come and mess with em!. so if you are around for awhile, its best if you keep em private!. i think im pretty lucky, reaching level 6 and only have 2 violation notices!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
When people can see your questions, they might build up a picture of you!. The whole point in Y/A for me is to be anonymous!. Not just in case someone recognises me from reading all my questions, but because I don't want to be judged!.!.!.its less personal when people can only judge you on one question!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
nothing, but you don't need anything incriminating for trolls to report you! They'll go through your profile and report everything whether it is in violation or not, and yahoo doesn't read them, so they will get removed and you're account will be suspended!Www@Enter-QA@Com
We hide from trolls!. People who would go through our questions and answers and use them against us somehow!. Those of us who know what I mean know from personal experience, like me!. People are crazy, mean, and stupid, and I have been a victim of this many times before!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Trolls, I post an answer in some hot topic places, and if someone doesn't like an answer, they could troll your other ones to report for no reason other then they are bitter!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
