We (my family) use to do it every Thanksgiving night, but that was years ago when my parents were still together and I was still a kid!.

Around December 15th!. Putting it up that late limits the amount of smashed/destroyed bulbs!. My cats love climbing the tree and knocking it over !.!. grrrrrrrrrrrr!. :(Www@Enter-QA@Com
My brother has a thing with setting up the christmas tree, lol!. Just last week he was asking us when we wanted to put it up!. Because of that, our tree is usually up and lighted by the end of November, crazy i know!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
We used to go and cut one from a tree farm so we waited till a week or two before Christmas!.
Last year we finally broke down and got a 12' artificial one so we can probably put it up Thanksgiving weekend!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
