I just watched a program about people who cheat death and their amazing stories of survival!.
A group of men who skydive together every weekend discuss how they'd prefer to die quickly while skydiving than slowly in a hospital!.
One of them had a bad accident and survived his chute not opening!.
He said that in the split second it took for him to realize he was about to die he struck the ground!.
He said he talked it over with his jump group and they decided that given the choice again they'd want time to make ammends with friends and family and seek closure before dieing!.
I have to agree with that logic!.
