I'm a girl but I can tell you not all guys think that way!. My fiance is one of them!. I'm much more of a horndog than he is!. :) And hes always thinking ahead!. We think about how to get more sex in the future!. Hence the jobs!. Nobody wants to have sex with a loser!. Hence the studying, to get the job to not be a loser so we can keep having sex!. Success and money are powerful attractors, and having lots of money gives a better chance for time to pursue more sex!.
And if you buy that, I have a bridge made out of penises to sell you!.
Of course, we think about other things, but sex is a biological imperative!. Once survival is guaranteed, we have no option except to think of sex!.

NOPE -- society has NOT changed much (in fact, it has gone downhill) -- males think that they can just 'spread it around' and NOT Be responsible at all !.!. you know !.!. what you mentioned!.
And this is coming from someone who was a Long Term Single Parent (Female) of two children (son and daughter) !.!. wow !.!. I can personally attest to the difficulties of raising children of each sex (and the issues too) !.!.!.
AND as someone who was the ONLY Responsible Parent -- the one who paid for HER OWN Education, who has worked HARD all her life, who SACRIFICED up front and paid for all her own and her childrens' needs !.!. who KNEW That with me paying my own College Bills (I HAD TO SUCCEED !.!. there was NO CHOICE -- after all, I only had ONE CHANCE through the process -- so I very much worked hard at my studies too) !.!. worked up the ranks, and yes,
NOW am enjoying the Pensions that I've earned through my Hard work (as well as my own home, etc)!. and !.!. most importantly -- I'm BACK in College once again (this time for fun) -- but it looks like I am learning things that can lead to me opening my own business in the future too (so even more I'm protecting myself and my financial security)!.
Benefits, saving for the future (retirement) !.!. providing for one's family -- and BEING a RESPONSIBLE Adult -- I don't see many guys doing just that (sad to say)!.
Unfortunately !.!. I think that the 'looseness' of the Baby Boomers who became the Hippies and the Sexual Revolution did NOTHING positive to help males figure out they needed to be RESPONSIBLE for their own lives and the FAMILY They contribute the genetic material to!.

We can multi-task!. As for why we think about sex so much, it is biological for the most part!. A bit of it is cultural, but most of it is just plain sex drive wired into the brain!.
