Just tell the person why you're interested and why they should be interested in you!. If you are honest and willing to be a "good contact," you will be treated with respect and you may get a great deal of pleasure out of it, if you and the other person really share a common interest!.

I usually say "Can I please add you to my contact!? I don't want to randomly add you unless I get your permission first!. Thanks!" And they usually respond with a yes!

I send them a BRIEF E-Mail asking them POLITELY if I can be one of their Contacts ! I then PATIENTLY AWAIT their RESPONSE to my E-Mail !Www@Enter-QA@Com
