Question: Does anyone not know how and when you give out a star or what a star is used for!?
It was only suggested to use it as a way to show your contacts where you have been!. Sort of like advertising!. It helps spread the word about a question when your contacts see where you went by your star!.
Now some use it as a reward, which is cool!. But I find it irritating when I go to answer a question and find it closed because someone starred a question only after they were given a best answer!.

I've always known that a star meant for your other contacts to see and also to answer what i have starred!. It helps to get the question more circulated to the other folks on here!. I know sometimes i close mine too soon when someone else goes in there to answer my question!. As a reward i dont think so!. When i see someone who stars mine i am greatful that they thought that much about the q to star me!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
I only 'star' a question that I want to place in my 'starred question' file, which makes it easy to locate interesting topics, answers and links!. I don't use it as a reward!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
