I used to be a valet at a casino near my apartment!. Our lot was closed off to the public and no one could get in!. All of the employees were educated on how not to activate car alarms!. That being said, if a car alarm actually went off, there was always quite a bit of chaos before we figured out what it was!. Usually it was a new employee or an animal of a sorts, but a few times there actually were crazy folk trying to steal things from cars!. They got arrested!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Long ago, car alarms went from being harbingers of thievery to noise pollution that people ignore!. Consequently, I don't think that any one pays attention to car alarms any more, I know that I don't!. The only thing that I find them useful for is finding your car in a parking lot when you've forgotten where you parked it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It would depend on the quality of the car and the alarm system!. If I am driving a Porsche with an alarm system and it goes off!.!.!.I am going to check if I hear it go off whether it's just someone bumping my car or not!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yup!.!.!. I ignore those stupid car alarms but if I heard my alarm I would know its a burglary since I have the senor turned down to go off only in the event of a door being opened or the glass breaking Www@Enter-QA@Com
