Answers:
I like the Euro!. Things are expensive everywhere, whatever currency you have!. But it's good to be able to spend the same currency in France as in Germany, and to go from France into Italy, then back up to Germany without having to keep changing!. also, if you look at the prices in Euros on goods in the UK which display both currencies, the amount is almost always cheaper in Euros!.

When the money between countries is in Euros, people can tell if they are being paid worse than their European neighbours!. They can see at a glance who has the best pensions, and who pays the most tax!. And I promise, if Britons could see the European equivalents, there are many areas in which they'd get a nasty shock

Actually, I can't see why people are so against the Euro!. I remember when we all had to learn that sixpence was now 2and a half pence, and a shilling was now five pence!. We don't even have paper pound notes any more except in Scotland, and there haven't been ten bob notes for years!. So what is so special about a currency we only brought in in the 1970's!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I live in the States and go home to Italy every summer!. I understand, it has gotten extremely expensive for everyone in Europe!. I stopped making the comparisons of the currency altogether because otherwise, I would have shot myself in the forehead!. Prices don't make any sense and many people still go back and to the "rate exchange from three years ago!." Mentally it irritates and drains you but the quality of life, has truly changed!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i don't like having euros cause everything is more expensive now!.!. okay prices go up even if you don't change the currency but when we (in finland) changed to euros everyone kind of got an excuse to put up the prices!.!.!. and everything is seriously expensive now!.!.!. but i wouldn't change it back to the old currency cause i don't think it would help!.!. so it kind of doesn't matter anymore!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't really know if things have gotten more expensive because I haven't lived here for very long, but I know for sure that things are way more expensive in the UK than anywhere that has the Euro!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
