Should a person be able to sue if partner infects them with a STD?!

Question: Should a person be able to sue if partner infects them with a STD!?
If a spouse or steady BF/GF cheats and then brings home a disease and infects you, should they be held legally responsible!?

You'd have to prove they willingly and knowingly infected you, kind of tough!. It's not illegal to cheat on someone, after all!. In the eyes of the law, it falls to individuals to protect themselves!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think it would be reasonable to sue!. i mean some people might say "well they should be responsible and wear a condom" BUT!.!.!. people in monogomous relationships don't always wear condoms so they shouldn't be held liable for that!. so yes, if a cheating spouse/bf, gf brings home an std then i think their partner has the right to sue them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes they should be held legally responsible but ONLY if they did not inform you that they had an STD!. If they DIDN'T KNOW they had an STD yet and gave it to you they still should be responsible because since they evidently did something to contract an STD they should have gotten checked before sleeping with you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You should sue yourself for being stupid enough to believe that your bf or gf was being faithful!.

This is why they created protection!. Apparently nobody learns about safe sex anymore!. Evidence: Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant again saying she didn't know she could get pregnant again while breast feeding!.

Yes!. I can envision the lawyer TV commercials now!.!.!.

"I'm Jim Sokolove!. Have you been infected with a sexually transmitted disease by a loved one!? Call me; I'll make them pay!"Www@Enter-QA@Com

Only if they knew they were infected and didn't share the info or take the necessary precautions!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

yes, if they were dishonest about it, if you knew they were having unprotected sex or had an std and you had sex with them anyways its as much your own fault as theirsWww@Enter-QA@Com

If I had asked my partner(if I had suspicions), and he said no, then it was transferred to me!.!.!.then yes, otherwise, I would be at fault, not him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
