Question: Going to the circus :old fashioned,plain cruel to performing animals or just plain fun!?
Just wondered the general consensus was, the circus is coming to my home town soon!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Oh my god i just love the circus! i've only been to a proper circus once ( the one complete with animals) it was a top quality well known European circus and it was just amazing! I too am a bit concerned (within reason) about animal welfare for instance i only buy free range chicken and eggs!. I think the best circus let you in ( for a modest fee) to tour there zoo and you can see first hand how the animals are treated and what conditions they are kept in!. The one i went to a good proportion of the animals had babies( which i took to be a good sign of welfare) and the place was clean and there wasn't any obvious signs of distress!.
they displayed an animal welfare code too which was good!.
I'd have no hesitation to go again to one of the top names like Pinder
It was brilliant, there was an orchestra, flying trapeze, magicians, penguins, horses, tigers!! Elephants!!!! and those skinny annoying female assistants in way too skimpy costumes wi thir leotards disappearing way up the crack o' there @rse (Should-nae be allowed the dirty bissoms!)
The only thing i didnae like wis that Horrible scary white clown in the wee poky hat Urrghh!! (whit's he all about eh!?)
I think all in all there should be some kind of authority that goes round checking on animal welfare ( if there isn't one already) and that all circuses should be registered!.
You should at least go and see for yourself and make your own mind up about circus with animals!. but for me a circus with only acrobats isn't a real circus!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't like to go to the circus!. I reminds me of freak shows and weirdly people who try to sell snake oil and all!. I'm no activist, but I think they treat these animals as pets and they are used to it, like my chihuahua is used to sitting by my laptop while I answer questions!. It actually keeps him warm and he likes it!. I hope the emfs aren't damaging him!. Must give him magnetic therapy!.!.!.!.brb!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
