Did you replace the nicotine addiction with a food one!.!.!?

I am trying to stop but I find I am now eating a lot more, is this common !.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You will automatically put on weight as your system will become more efficient but not much if you don't eat more!. Ciggies are a mouth thing - I won't go all Freudian on you - but you are replacing one mouth thing with another!. We won't discuss breasts, dummies etc!.,! Don't worry about it now - stopping is hard enough - you can work on the eating once you are sure you've given up!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes!. Unfortunately smoking is also an appetite depressant so not only do you get your appetite back you also eat more because you need to be doing something with your hands!. I did gain weight when I packed up smoking about 18 years ago but once your over the addiction then you dietWww@Enter-QA@Com

Very common!. Try putting a plastic coffee stirrer stick in your mouth instead of food!. But, beware!.!.!.!.your teeth might hurt after a while from chomping on the stick so hard!. That's what happened when I tried to quit!. Good luck with trying to quit!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, but I did find that I needed to keep something that I could hold and chew on -- I chose a soda straw -- it was about the size of a cigarette and it really helped!. It worked for a friend of mine, too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I quit and cold turkey!.!.!.

I just chew on everything!.!. Pens, straws, pretty much anything that is okay to put in your mouth I do and I chew it to hell!.

If you need to eat a lot drink water a lot it will make you really full and you won't gain actual weight from cause it will turn into waste!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

not sweets,,,and lots of fresh orange juice,,,
