I agree with you shop girl, and also believe that there is some sense of guilt coming out of the gas pump! The Gas Man is seeing that he is robbing the consumer, so much, that it is even effecting wallstreet!. Stocks are down and corporations are also looking to take from other sources (the consumer) instead of relying on gains of interest!.
I believe once the stockmarket levels back up, the gas man is going to go right back to taking as much as he can!.

Hey its getting close to election day and the big oil companies want John McCain elected so they can continue to do business as usual!. And just how can those POOR oil companies continue to do business without those mean ole tax breaks!. I think George W wants us all to think it has to do with the "rescue plan"!. It was very convenient how the 30 cent drop came right after it passed!.
