I do it all the time and it really offends them!. I don't do it on purpose I just forget to log into my messenger for a long time and who I have added!.

Yep in fact I loaded up my msn for the first time in months and about 7 windows popped up asking me how I was doing where I have been and why did I leave!.
The only one I remembered was a guy I used to work with when I lived in California!.
it sucks I try to jog my memory hoping they have a profile or something but they don't!.
