I was poor as a child and I'm not exactly rich now but I remember as a child not having the things the other children had but we still had fun!. We used to build roads and tunnels in the dirt and play with Matchbox cars!. I didn't have any girls my age to play with in the neighborhood!. We would sit in the dirt and play with those cars for hours!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

No being an only child i thought i was as rich as anyone else!. But i never starved!. I got a bicycle rode forever ,climbed trees was perhaps a tomboy!. But i never experience poor!. Lots of kids in my class thought i was rich but no i wasnt!. Misunderstood till years later!. My family gave me more and dressed me in home made clothes!. I never missed a meal for sure!.I guess cause the other kids were farmers children and alot of them had a huge family is the reason they thought i was rich!. Well perhaps i was the Poor little Rich girl!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i was poor, we didn't have brand new clothes that didn't come from a recycled clothing store, our toilet was outdoors on the other side of the backyard, i never had the latest toy wonder, there was rarely any desert after dinner, the dolls i did have came second hand from my wealthier cousins, dirty and trashed!.
i couldn't go on excursions while still at school because there wasn't enough money to pay for the fee's, i would pretend i had lost the permission slip so that's why i couldn't go, i just never told my mother about the school trips to begin with cause i knew she couldn't afford it!.
but there was never a lack of love and care, i never starved i was always cared for, i always had a roof over my head!.

My dad was a single dad who raised 5 kids and ran a farm!. He worked a factory job 40 hours a week plus ran the farm all by himself!. Us kids took care of each other and we grew our own vegetables and made everything home made!.!.!.even our noodles!. We raised pigs, cows and chickens and butchered them ourselves!. We didn't have TV and we didn't go on vacations but we grew up supporting and helping each other and now as adults have very close relationships and support each other no matter what!.

To us it was a normal childhood!.!.!.!.and most people today would cringe at the thought of having to make anything home made!.!.!.!.especially at the age of 7!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

no, we weren't rich but weren't poor either!. my dad worked selling hardware for sears, back in the 50's and 60's!. he has a workshop filled with every tool there is!. before that he drove a bus!. mom did bookkeeping for a bank, i don't think she ever made more than 6 bucks an hour, but somehow they always made sure we had a comfortable home, went camping every summer, and never wanted for anything!. but then i don't remember ever thinking about wanting anything!. those were great days!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
