Question: Survey (UK): How many people are contemplating emigrating from the UK!?
I love my country, but let us face some depressing facts!.!.!.!.!.
1) having lost near ￡860m in Iceland bank collapse alone in local council/public service, I can see one heck of a council tax rise!.!.!.
2) you will need to have at least 25% deposit for a house as a first time buyer now
3) food and fuel prices are going stellar
4) Gordon Brown is seriously losing control!.!.!.!.
I know these problems exist elsewhere, the difference is our government really are incompetent!.!.!.!.

Moved january 4th 2008 to Sweden, and everyimte i'm back home visiting family in London, i get so sad that everybody puts up with what they do!.

Its the same the whole world over my friend!. The grass only looks greener on the other side!. Its not so bad here!. Yes, there are problems but you will find them whereever you go!.

My hubby and I would absolutely love to emigrate to Australia, we went twice last year for holidays and absolutely love the place, sadly we are both too old and haven't got the money required to fund ourselves to live there, I feel so sorry for the youngsters who are trying to get a foot on the property ladder and have the threat of losing their jobs hanging over their heads, goodness knows what this country is coming to but lets hope and pray things start to pick up again soon!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I left London to move back to Ireland just over 2yrs ago as thought be safer for my son growing up in & the school is excellent but is even more expensive to live here now but the quality of life I guess is better!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but I miss London loads as was more to do!.!.!.!.!. :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
