You know, I am so glad I'm not the only one who feels that way!. The original one was hilarious!. Even the 2nd one was pretty okay!. The stuff they're doing now is just crap!.

I believe it's because in that era, comedy used to be the ultimate laughter ticket!. Comedy was that great family-oriented entertainment that everyone with a sense of humor loved!. Even those who never laughed got a chuckle out of National Lampoon comedies!.
Unfortunately our current societies and generations, (the teen demographic making up the largest portion of movie-watchers) have become a community of avid nymphomaniacs!. Dorms have become the staple of potential sex and anything sex related!. A high school graduate might want to go to college just to 'sleep with hot girls and have all kinds of sex possible'!.
Directors and screenwriters probably took note of this and turned it into the permanent central idea of all National Lampoon movies!.
We may never go back to simple comedy where tripping, falling, and pie covered faces would spark mass laughter in a room!. We might as well get used to watching 18-year-olds compete to have the most girls kissing on their beds!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

National Lampoon used to be an actual magazine that had good writers who came up with movie ideas!.
